Eligibility | Students can present results of their undergraduate or graduate research at 20th Islands of the World Conference. At the time of request for a Student Travel Grant, an applicant must be currently enrolled as a student in a college or university in a degree-seeking program at either an undergraduate, Master’s or Ph.D. level, or equivalent for foreign students. |

Step | Description |

1. Submit an Abstract |
You must first submit an abstract and be selected to present at the Conference.
>> When submitting your abstract online, please make sure to check the box indicating whether you wish to apply for the “Student Travel Grants”. |
2. Review & Selection |
If your abstract is accepted, you will be required to deliver both an oral presentation and a poster presentation, which will be reviewed by the 2026 ISISA Organizing Committee.
>>Your abstract acceptance notification will be announced in February 2026. >> Poster presentation guidelines will be provided individually to selected applicants by the Secretariat at a later stage. |
3. Award Notification |
The final awardees will be announced during the closing ceremony.
